The Slovak Museum of Nature Protection and Speleology (8km)

Specialized all-Slovak Museum oriented on nature protection and speleology of the Slovak Republic includes 2 expositions. The Museum also realizes exhibitions and lectures in connection with nature protection and speleology. The library and archive belong to the Museum as well.



Liptovský Hrádok - Castle and manor house (19km)

The Castle Hrádok built on a small hill near the river Belá is situated in the town Liptovský Hrádok in the north of Slovakia. Though several versions of a story narrating the origin of the castle exist, one thing is certain: the first reference to the castle is from 1341.



Open Air Museum of Liptov Village (24km)

In Pribylina, under the slopes of the Western Tatras, you will find one of the most beautiful open air museums in Slovakia. The wooden and stone houses in its area come from the area flooded by the dam Liptovská Mara. There are also medieval stone buildings such as early Gothic church and Gothic-Renaissance manor-house.

Liptov Celts were enchanted by a magical place above the dam Liptovská Mara in the past. Come to see typical celtic village, wooden cottages and towers etc.



Vlkolínec - UNESCO World Heritage Site (30km)
